Weigh in on new TOD guidebook

OLYMPIA —The state Department of Commerce is seeking feedback on a draft guidebook to help cities plan for transit-oriented development (TOD).

State law requires Vancouver, Spokane and certain cities in King, Pierce and Snohomish counties to adopt transit-oriented development rules updating land-use laws to plan for increased residential densities near light rail, commuter rail and bus rapid transit stations.
