Truebeck to build 83 affordable units for YWCA in Belltown

The doomed little century-old building ...

In the fall of 2024, the DJC broke the news that the YWCA was then planning to redevelop its old Lexington-Concord apartments in Belltown. The demo permit has been issued, and the 59-unit building at 2402 Second Ave. is now empty. With a relocation allowance (i.e., payment), tenants have moved to other affordable apartment buildings — both within and beyond the YWCA portfolio.
