July 9 meeting on airport DEIS

SEATAC — The Port of Seattle is inviting the public to comment on proposed development projects at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport during a meeting scheduled for July 9.

The meeting will focus on a draft environmental impact statement (EIS) for the airport's Sustainable Airport Master Plan (SAMP) near-term projects. The SAMP includes 31 projects the port says are needed to improve airport operations, safety and access. These include a second terminal and concourse with 19 additional aircraft gates.
