    The Mediterranean vineyard snail is an invasive species that was found in the Tacoma Tideflats in 2005.

    The Port of Tacoma issued a bid request last week for help eradicating an invasive snail species at its Parcel 117 location near Taylor Way and Alexander Avenue.
