RICHLAND (AP) The state Department of Labor and Industries will take over the review of how worker compensation claims are handled at the Hanford nuclear site in southcentral Washington.
Workers at the site have complained they have had to hire attorneys to try to get some medical claims paid. Others have said that claims languish for more than a year before being paid.
