LADDERS DON'T LEAD TO CRIME

Wanna buy that deluxe ladder you saw at your hardware store, but you are just not sure about the liability implications?

Well, relax. In case you haven't heard, our state appeals court recently ruled that ladders don't create a "special temptation" for criminal activity, and that an attempted rape victim thus couldn't recover damages from a construction company whose ladder was stolen and later used by the assailant to enter the victim's home.
