Westport breaks ground on tsunami refuge tower

Crews will drive large pilings into the ground to help secure the structure against tsunami forces and debris.

A stand-alone tsunami refuge that can hold more than 1,000 people is now under construction in Westport's Marina District after breaking ground this weekend.
