Data center demands are adding pressure to a tight construction labor market

  • The boom in data center demand is causing a crunch in construction hiring, even as the rest of the market cools, according to a new workforce survey released Thursday by the AGC.

    The survey found that 87% of firms have openings for hourly craft positions and 82% for salaried positions, with most reporting these roles are as hard or harder to fill than a year ago.
