New detection system aims to prevent future White River Bridge strikes

    The White River Bridge reopened in October after five weeks of repairs.

    It's been just over a year since an over-height vehicle struck the White River Bridge, leading to an extended closure of a vital stretch of state Route 410 between Enumclaw and Buckley.
