Hensel Phelps has completed the renovation and relocation of its Pacific Northwest regional headquarters, moving into a newly renovated office suite at the 14ACRES office campus in Bellevue as the contractor continues to grow its presence across Washington and the broader Pacific Northwest.

The nationally recognized general contractor and construction manager officially occupied its new office at 15375 S.E. 30th Place, Suite 130, in April. Company officials said the move was driven by continued regional growth and the need for additional capacity to support employees, project teams and future hiring efforts.

Designed to complement the building's existing architectural character, the office follows the property's established interior finish palette while incorporating updated furnishings and finishes.

A standout feature is the entry wall, inspired by the building's retro-themed public lobby and incorporating the Hensel Phelps logo. The feature wall helped guide material and finish selections throughout the suite, creating a consistent transition between common areas and the tenant space.

The renovation was delivered through a collaborative effort involving Hensel Phelps' internal leadership team and several regional trade partners. Burgess Design served as architect, while Hermanson Company LLC provided mechanical and plumbing work, Bergelectric handled electrical systems, Cosco Fire Protection installed fire protection systems and Performance Contracting Inc. completed framing, drywall, doors, hardware, ceilings and glass work.

Work was done through a collaborative effort involving Hensel Phelps’ internal leadership team and several regional trade partners.

Hensel Phelps also self-performed demolition and the installation of building accessories, a strategy the company said helped maintain schedule certainty and cost control.

A HIGH-PROFILE PORTFOLIO

Company officials say the new office is a strategic investment in the region's future, in line with the company's long-term vision while supporting innovation, collaboration and operational excellence.

Hensel Phelps' Pacific Northwest regional office has built a substantial portfolio of high-profile projects across the Puget Sound region, including the $436.7 million, Alaska Airlines-led, SEA Gateway Project / SEA Alaska North Main Terminal Redevelopment project at the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA), Port of Seattle's $306.7 million SEA Baggage Optimization Phase II project and the $494 million North Concourse Modernization at SEA.

The firm has also done major work for Sound Transit such as a $236 million design-build contract for the Operations and Maintenance Facility East in Bellevue, and a $157.8 million contract for the Downtown Redmond Link Extension parking garage and light-rail stations.

In the higher education and laboratories/research sector, Hensel Phelps delivered the $107 million ARS-WSU Bioscience Research Building, a state-of-the-art facility supporting advanced agricultural and bioscience research.

The contractor has also completed a series of complex healthcare projects at the University of Washington Medical Center and Harborview Medical Center, performing construction and renovation work while the facilities remained operational.
