BELLEVUE — At the Spring District, with light rail now connecting to Seattle, the bare Block 4A is one of the smaller parcels on that 36-acre mixed-use campus. Probably eventually bound for retail or restaurant use, it's a trapezoid tucked between the sunken tracks and Spring Boulevard. The city places it at 1209 124th Ave. N.E., for some reason, but it's actually between the Block 5A office building and two-story bike storage/retail building (the latter is on the corner of 120th). It faces south to Spring.
There, a plan emerged last week to place some padel courts as an interim use. It was filed by master developer Wright Runstad, whose partner in the Spring District is Shorenstein Properties.
