First-time RV adventurer suffers a few mishaps

DOVER, Del. -- Preparations for this vacation started like any other: We packed shorts and T-shirts, filled the car with gas and headed for the open road.

But I realized this six-hour trip was a little different when we took a break at a rest stop in West Virginia. Instead of heading to a vending machine for a snack, my husband and I got out of our truck and went inside our towable RV for a quick bite and bathroom break. A few minutes later, we were back on the highway.
