Columbia River crossing out for bid in WSDOT’s largest contract ever

  • The nearly $4 billion design-build contract includes twin I-5 spans to replace the aging crossing

    The Interstate Bridge’s first span opened in 1917. Two new fixed-span multimodal bridges will be built west of the of the existing crossing.

    The Washington State Department of Transportation is seeking a progressive design-builder for the largest contract ever in Washington or Oregon.
