Tacoma transit board has openings

TACOMA — The Tacoma City Council is looking to fill five positions on its Transportation Commission.

This commission advises the City Council on matters including transportation planning; compliance with local, regional and federal regulations; and bike, pedestrian and mass transit-related planning initiatives. City officials say the 11-member Transportation Commission will play an important part in implementing updates to its Transportation and Mobility and Vision Zero Action plans.
