Film looks at terra cotta art on older buildings

The University Street façade of Seattle Art Museum has ornamental flourishes in polychrome terra cotta.

Historic Seattle will show a documentary film which explores the use of terra cotta in architecture and art from 1890 to 1940 at 7 p.m. Feb. 27 at Seattle Art Museum, 1300 First Ave.
