Architecture historian and University of Washington professor Jeffrey Karl Ochsner will give a free two-part lecture on Seattle’s architectural history at 1 p.m. April 13 and April 20 at Seattle Central Library, 1000 Fourth Ave.
Seattle Architecture Foundation and the library are sponsoring the talks.
The first will cover 1880 to 1935, and the second will go from 1935 to the present. Ochsner will explore architectural and urban developments, building types and stylistic directions, and architects who shaped the city and region.
