In Seattle, Walsh Construction Co. promoted Eric Storhaug and Tanner Romo to superintendents; Matt Elliott and Greg Graham to assistant superintendents; and Evan Erickson to assistant estimator. Storhaug joined Walsh in 2014 as a project engineer and in 2018 became an assistant superintendent. He is supporting the Seattle Housing Authority's Lam Bow project. Romo interned at Walsh in 2015 and 2016, and rejoined as a project engineer after graduating in 2017 from Central Washington University with a degree in construction management. In 2019, he was promoted to assistant superintendent. He is currently working on the Cedar Crossing project. Elliott graduated from Washington State University in 2017 with a degree in construction management and joined Walsh in 2018 as a project engineer. He is working on the Northaven Three project. Graham joined the company in 2014 as a journeyman carpenter and in 2017 became carpenter foreman. He is on the Emerald Heights renovation project in Redmond. Erickson joined Walsh in 2018 as a project engineer after graduating from CWU with a degree in construction management.

RS&H

Clayton Ringer joined RS&H's Transportation Construction Management Group in Seattle, where he is leading the company's expansion in western Washington. Ringer has 15 years of experience delivering over $2.6 billion in heavy civil transportation projects across the country, serving in roles as owner, consultant and contractor. He is a licensed engineer with a focus on technical bridge construction including segmental bridges, incrementally launched bridges, lateral slides and arctic construction. Prior to joining RS&H, Ringer was construction manager for The Walsh Group, where he spent the last five years leading that firm's growth in the Pacific Northwest. RS&H provides integrated architecture, engineering and consulting services.

ABC of Western Washington

Kent-based Cutter Electric Co. joined the Associated Builders and Contractors of Western Washington. Cutter is an electrical contractor that specializes in industrial, medical and commercial services.

Master Builders of Pierce County

The Master Builders Association of Pierce County rebranded with a redesigned logo, website and creation of badges to certify projects that meet the standards of a Master Builder. Also, the association no longer uses the acronym MBA — it now goes with Master Builders instead. The trade association represents over 800 builders, remodelers and industry professionals whose businesses employ more than 10,000 people in Pierce County.

Turner Construction Co.

Last week, Turner Construction Co. helped kick off the inaugural Construction Inclusion Week. The program consisted of five days of engagement to promote inclusion and enable conversations regarding diversity within the construction industry. Over 1,100 firms signed up for this year's event, which was organized by Time for Change, a consortium of six general contractors that includes Turner, Gilbane Building Co., DPR Construction, Mortenson, McCarthy and Clark Construction Group. Affiliated partners are Associated Builders and Contractors, Associated General Contractors and Culture of Care.

Ritchie Bros.

Vancouver, B.C.-based equipment auctioneer Ritchie Bros. launched a self-serve equipment listing service called RitchieList.com. Ritchie says the program includes secure transaction management and additional services designed to make selling easy for private parties and equipment dealers. Some of those services include access to an inventory management system, data analytics and pricing valuation tools.

MGAC

Washington, D.C.-based MGAC, an owner's representative and project and cost management consultant, acquired U.K. property and construction consultant RLF. The deal was an all-cash purchase. Other financial details were not disclosed. RLF has 100 employees across four U.K. offices in London, Brighton, Birmingham and Glasgow. Its core services include cost management, project management, construction management, health and safety, and building surveying. In North America, MGAC has 170 employees and additional offices in New York, Toronto, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Seattle. A recent project locally was the T-Mobile headquarters in Bellevue.
