Luvera Law Firm

Seattle-based Luvera Law Firm has earned two tier-one designations in the 2025 U.S. News — Best Lawyers “Best Law Firms” rankings for excellence in Personal Injury Litigation — Plaintiffs and Medical Malpractice Law — Plaintiffs for the 15th consecutive year. The “Best Law Firms” guide recognizes select law firms for professional excellence and ratings from clients and peers. In 2023, the firm secured a verdict of more than $102 million against Nationwide Insurance for misconduct against their own customer. Cancer Targeted Technology

Cancer Targeted Technology (CTT), a privately-held Seattle-based biotechnology firm focusing on cancer diagnostics and therapeutics, announced that the National Cancer Institute awarded the Phase I portion ($400,000) of the fast track Phase I/II ($2.4 million) Small Business Innovation Research grant to develop a new drug to treat metastatic prostate cancer. The grant focuses on a promising new prodrug, CTT2274, that targets Prostate-Specific Membrane Antigen on prostate cancer and is designed to release a toxic drug, MMAE, within the cell that takes up the prodrug. In the Phase I portion of the grant, to be completed in Q2 2025, CTT will conduct additional non-clinical efficacy studies and manufacturing optimization. In Phase II of the grant, to be completed in Q2, 2026, CTT will conduct additional manufacturing and safety assessments necessary to advance CTT2274 to an Investigational New Drug application. These studies will support the initial clinical trial in metastatic prostate cancer planned for 2026.

Lennon Crane, based in Monroe, appointed Scott Brown to vice president of sales. Brown comes to Lennon Crane with 25 years of crane industry experience. Most recently he was senior key account manager at Barnhart, and prior to that was with Sickelsteel Cranes and North American Crane.

“Brown's focus will be to develop and expand relationships while educating customers on the values and key benefits of the Tadano line of new cranes in Washington and Oregon,” says Scott Lennon, company vice president. Lennon Crane will celebrate its 50th anniversary in the crane business in 2025. The core business of Lennon Crane is the ‘bare rental' of rough terrain and tele crawlers between 35-160 tons. Lennon Crane operates in the Western U.S. and Canada, and has customers in numerous industry sectors. Lennon Crane is a Tadano Distributor in Washington and Oregon and sells and services all lines of Tadano cranes in addition to selling legacy Mantis and DEMAG parts.

Vouched, a provider of AI-powered identity verification for healthcare, banking and financial services, named Neal Oman as chief technology officer and Patrick Williams as senior director of marketing. Oman joins Vouched with a technical background building and delivering artificial intelligence and machine learning applications, and has over 25 years of experience in public and private technology companies. Prior to Vouched, he served as the CTO and head of engineering at Plunk, as a senior technical advisor for AI and analytics at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, and VP of research in applied ML and computer vision at HERE Technologies. As CTO, Oman will be responsible for formulating a technology strategy that aligns with the company's business objectives and market needs. He will oversee product development and delivery, designing software architectures that meet the needs of Vouched's B2B clients. He will also lead the company's efforts to recruit, mentor and retain skilled engineers and developers. Williams brings more than 30 years of experience in digital marketing, data-driven strategies and campaign optimization. In his new role, he will be responsible for leading the strategy, execution and optimization of all marketing initiatives to increase awareness and generate pipeline growth for Vouched. Owens brings over 20 years of experience in executive roles at Salesforce and Oracle, where he scaled enterprise operations and global sales. Prior to Amperity, he was the president of worldwide field operations at LivePerson, overseeing the company's go-to-market strategy and teams. Before LivePerson, he had progressive responsibilities running Salesforce's field operations in the Americas and was a member of the executive committee. Owens also previously served as group vice president at Oracle. Owens serves on the board of directors for The Mandatum Foundation, SnapLogic, Pathlight, and CIPIO.ai.
