The MolinaCares Accord, in collaboration with Molina Healthcare of Washington, recently committed $400,000 to the University of Washington School of Nursing to help expand the behavioral health workforce in the state through the development and implementation of a blended family and psychiatric primary care curriculum for nurse practitioners. “MolinaCares is dedicated to facilitating access to behavioral health resources in Washington communities as we deal with an ongoing shortage of providers in the state,” said Dr. Jay Fathi, plan president of Molina Healthcare of Washington. “By expanding the number of nurse practitioners specializing in behavioral health care, who will also be trained in primary care, we can make great strides in improving outcomes for individuals struggling with mental health issues and substance use disorder.” Established by Molina Healthcare, The MolinaCares Accord oversees a community investment platform created to improve the health and well-being of disadvantaged populations by funding meaningful, measurable, and innovative programs and solutions that improve health, life, and living in local communities. Molina Healthcare of Washington has been providing government-funded health care for over 20 years. The company serves members through Medicaid, Medicare and the Health Benefit Exchange programs throughout Washington.

ZoomInfo, a software, data, and intelligence firm, announced the appointment of Alison Gleeson to its board of directors. She was previously the SVP of Americas at Cisco, where she led nearly 9,000 employees and was responsible for more than $25 billion in annual sales. Gleeson currently serves as a board member of publicly traded SaaS companies Elastic and 8x8 Inc. She has received the Connected World's Woman of IoT Award, Diversity Best Practices' Above and Beyond Legacy Award, and the Michigan Council for Women in Technology's Woman of the Year Award. Gleeson received a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing from Michigan State University, where she currently serves on the advisory board of Eli Broad College of Business. ZoomInfo is headquartered in Vancouver.
Justin Widlund has joined digital health startup Well Health as general counsel. Widlund brings nearly 17 years of legal experience and has experience working at start-ups and enterprise-level companies in the Silicon Valley and Pacific Northwest. Widlund joins WELL from Freshworks. Prior to his role at Freshworks, he held legal roles at Microsoft, Apigee and NetSuite, among others. As general counsel at WELL Health, Widlund will lead the legal function, and leverage his expertise to guide WELL Health's growth as a late-stage startup in the digital health marketplace. Widlund is based in Seattle, and will report to Well Health's chief financial officer, Tom McIntyre. Founded in 2015, WELL Health is based in Santa Barbara, California. Well Health has been named No. 10 on the 2021 Forbes America's Best Startup Employers list, No.133 fastest-growing company in North America on the 2021 Deloitte Technology Fast 500, and ranked on the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing private companies for two consecutive years.
Itron signed a contract with Energy Queensland to deploy Temetra, Itron's cloud-based mobile meter data collection and management solution. Energy Queensland is a government owned corporation consisting of two electric utilities serving 2.3 million electricity customers, covering both urban and rural remote locations. The cloud-based solution provides new ways for utilities to optimize operations, enhance route optimization, and improve customer engagement and meter reading efficiencies. Temetra allows the utilities to collect, upload and store the meter data in real time. The included GPS support allows utilities to create and assign routes based on up-to-date meter location information and workload. Itron is headquartered in Liberty Lake.

TAPCO Credit Union appointed Jason Allen as its new chief information officer. Allen has over twenty years of IT experience in the financial industry, along with education, manufacturing, and health services. Allen comes to TAPCO from American Bank located in Corpus Christi, Texas, as their director of IT operations. In his career, Allen has successfully executed core conversions, led four bank acquisitions, and designed infrastructure for fifty-five branch locations in four states. He was also awarded the President's Technology Award for Truliant Federal Credit Union, for implementing a new ticketing system. TAPCO Credit Union, founded in 1934, is a Pierce County-based and community-focused financial institution, where anyone who lives or works in the state of Washington is eligible for membership.
The acquisition of Westwood Shipping Lines by Swire Shipping has been finalized, following regulatory approvals and completion of standard closing conditions. Westwood, headquartered in Puyallup, connects the Japan and Korea markets with ports in Washington state and British Columbia and inland points in the US and Canada through those ports. Westwood will continue to provide its current services with its team of professionals in Canada, China, Japan, Korea, and the US. Senwa Maritime Agency, will continue to serve as Westwood's general agent in Japan, along with Hyop Woon International, its long-time agent in Korea. Westwood announced in April 2022 that its owner, J-WeSco, a subsidiary of a group of Japanese companies led by the Sumitomo Warehouse, had signed a definitive agreement with Swire Shipping to sell the US-based company as part of a corporate strategy to focus on its core businesses of warehousing, stevedoring, real estate, and logistics. Swire Shipping's acquisition of Westwood complements its growth strategy to widen its liner network while vertically integrating shipping services.
Seattle-based Raisbeck Engineering announced the appointment of Don Graves as chief financial officer. Graves brings over 25 years of finance, corporate strategy, accounting, and operational expertise at the executive and board level. He comes to Raisbeck from Korry Electronics, where he was responsible for overseeing the company's financial functions, including financial reporting, analysis, and forecasting. In addition, Graves supervised the company's accounting and IT departments. Prior to joining Korry Electronics, Graves served as director of business management at Blue Origin. He also served as vice president finance at Top Aces and CFO of the Advanced Composites and Engineered Materials Division at Zodiac Aerospace. In his new role, Graves will lead Raisbeck's financial activities, including accounting, financial planning and analysis, financial reporting, cost control, insurance, and internal audit. Additionally, he will oversee the company's ERP implementation and interface with parent company Acorn Growth Companies and its investors. Raisbeck Engineering is a leading provider of aircraft modifications for business and commercial aircraft.

Emerald Communities, a nonprofit senior housing and service organization in Redmond, appointed Alexander Candalla as vice president of operations. Candalla has nearly three decades of experience in senior living. In his new role, he oversees operations for the senior living communities of Emerald Heights and Heron's Key. Candalla is also working with executive directors of each property to implement new programs and policies, develop strategic goals, and ensure that all operations are conducted in accordance with organization mission and values. Prior to joining Emerald Communities, Candalla was executive director of senior living properties in Des Moines and northern California.

Summit Bank promoted Matt Dynice to senior vice president and credit administrator. Dynice has over 20 years of commercial banking experience. Previously, he worked as vice president and business client advisor in the bank's Central Oregon office. He continues to work out of the Central Oregon office as he transitions into his new role. Before joining Summit in 2020, Dynice worked for 13 years at Umpqua Bank. Summit has offices in Eugene, Central Oregon and downtown Portland.
Pemco Mutual Insurance appointed Vendula Linhart as the Seattle-based insurer's executive chief of staff. Linhart is working with Pemco executives and leaders as an advisor, facilitator, and driver of strategic projects, initiatives and processes. Linhart brings nearly a decade of business operations experience. In her new role, she is facilitating annual strategic planning and communications, and supporting strategic projects such as the company's culture transformation initiative. Most recently, Linhart was chief of staff at Trussworks, a software consulting firm. Previously, she held progressive leadership roles in business management, operations and external relations with Acronis, a global leader in the cyber protection space.
Seattle-based Convoy, a leading digital freight network, appointed Maggie Brady to its executive team as head of people. Brady oversees all aspects of the people and places teams at Convoy, including recruiting, total rewards, learning and development, DE&I, and workplace and facilities teams. In this role, she focuses on creating initiatives to foster growth and development for employees and leaders, with an emphasis on building an inclusive environment through leading-edge DE&I initiatives. Brady has over 20 years of HR experience. Prior to Convoy, she was group HR leader for the technology and business segments at Fiserv, a global fintech and payments company.
