Limb is a senior civil engineer with 17 years of experience on airport and aviation infrastructure, water and wastewater projects, and roadway projects. Gambardella has 18 years of experience in architecture and is architectural services manager leading the team for vertical construction in Alaska. Thoma is a senior mechanical engineer with 20 years of experience on airport landside, education, health care and hospitality projects. Talley is civil engineer with 31 years managing projects for water and waste water projects primarily in public infrastructure design and construction. Ward is a project manager and senior engineer with 21 years of experience in planning, design and construction of local water storage reservoirs, pump stations and conveyance pipelines. Gilbert has over 30 years of commercial experience in the power industry and structured commodity origination. He works in renewable power, commercial origination, power marketing, power plant development, structured commodities, asset purchase and sale, construction management, plant feasibility analysis, and waste-to-energy. Sweeney is a mechanical engineer with leadership experience in field engineering, mechanical design, and project execution in the oil and gas industry for pipelines, refinery, and upgrader settings. Stantec provides engineering and design services for buildings, transportation, water, waterpower and dams, and environmental services projects.

Seattle-based Weber Thompson promoted Kirsten Clemens to senior associate, Erin Hatch to marketing director, Allison Rose to digital marketing specialist, and Noelle Galicia, Susan Frieson and Michele Richmond to associate. Clemens joined Weber Thompson in 2012. Her work has included Helios, a downtown Seattle high-rise. Hatch, hired in 2012, directs marketing and external efforts, leads marketing planning for the design studios, and trains staff in marketing and business development. Rose was hired in 2016. She is responsible for the firm's digital presence, generates content for award submittals, and supports marketing and outreach. Galicia joined the practice in 2013 and is in the mid-rise studio. She is working on Marlowe, a component of a project at 425 Fairview. Frieson was hired in 2013 and is in the high-rise and hospitality design studios. She is working on Elan, a multi-building, mixed-use project in Bellevue. Richmond is a landscape architect and project manager who has contributed to the Othello Square master plan. In the Lynnwood buildings practice, it promoted Michael Newbury to senior principal, Tim Philomeno to senior associate, Ian Cotton and Rami Kataya to associate, and Kellen Davis, Kan Lee and Ben Nakamura to project managers. In the Lynnwood water group, it promoted Fangbiao Lin to vice president, global practice leader. Thrun is an electrical engineer with over 28 years of design and management experience in commercial, education, community and cultural projects, including for MOHAI and Amazon. Janof is an electrical engineer with 25 years of experience working on data centers, commercial buildings and schools, including projects for Microsoft. Fiedler is a lighting designer with eight years of experience, including on projects for Kemper Development and the Port of Seattle. Newbury leads the Northwest buildings engineering practice. He has 27 years in electrical engineering, leading health care, commercial and hospitality projects, including Swedish MC Issaquah. Philomeno is a senior program manager with 19 years of experience developing software and information systems for the buildings practice. Cotton is an electrical engineer with 11 years of experience in health care and commercial markets. Kataya has 13 years of electrical design experience on military and port facilities. Davis, Lee and Nakamura are involved in design and management of electrical projects. Lin has a background in hydraulics and fluid dynamics, computational fluid dynamics, hydropower, hydraulic machinery and hydraulic engineering, with over 30 years of experience. In the Puget Sound region, Stantec provides engineering and specialty design services for buildings, transportation, water, waterpower and dams, and environmental services projects.

Kent-based Hermanson Co. hired Tim Healey as human resources director. Healey will oversee hiring and be a strategic business advisor on organizational and management issues. He has been an HR senior leader, most recently with the Opportunity Council in Bellingham. Hermanson provides mechanical construction, design-build engineering, and service/maintenance.

Parisa Mills and Alex Smith of Bremerton-based Rice Fergus Miller have become licensed architects in Washington. Mills, an associate, is a project manager in the community studio. Smith is in the fire and emergency services and hospitality studios.

Marc Burton was promoted to vice president, client solutions and corporate systems for OpenSquare. He will lead teams of designers, coordinators and project managers as well as OpenSquare's technology and architectural products division. He has over 30 years of architectural and interior design experience. OpenSquare creates spaces that support creativity and the ways people work today, with offices in Seattle and Spokane.
