‘Cloudvue 2.0' drops the offices, plans 1,718 Bellevue units instead

Sound Transit’s nearby station is essentially done. Amazon is now building the east component of Bellevue 600, with the west side indefinitely paused.

Over in downtown Bellevue, planning for what became Cloudvue began under a different name and owner back in 2016. The city has approved over 2.2 million square feet of development at 10855 N.E. Eighth St. (now parking lots and the doomed old First Congregational Church). It's to take the form of three 600-foot towers on the south side of Eighth, north of the current Bellevue Transit Center and Amazon's Bellevue 600 project.
