$5M in grants help with facelift of U District

Sweet alchemy used the grant funding to invest in new signage and a new awning.

U District Partnership (UDP) is celebrating the results of a recent effort to restore and revitalize small businesses in the University District. Over the course of less than one year, the nonprofit partnership has granted nearly $5 million to 141 small businesses and nonprofits to support facade and facility improvements via its U District Vitality Grants program.
